Join this workshop to learn the basics of developing black and white 16mm film as a negative with different eco developers that are less harmful to the environment. We will practice loading 100ft 16mm lomo tanks and test a few eco developers with coffee, vitamin C, orange peels, cloves, etc. This workshop will also present an illustrated introduction to the materiality of black and white photochemical film and its composition, providing a picture as to what happens within each layer from exposure to development. The workshop will include an induction in our brand new darkroom, providing you with the structure and workflow to use our darkroom independently or work at home.
