A Film Without Images
Info
In this film without images workshop, we will explore and practice the storytelling possibilities that are given by sound, now with guest artist Shenece Oretha! This workshop is a beginning point from which you can expand your practice with sound.
Important: Participants will need to bring their own laptops and headphones with them. This is a sound-based workshop without subtitles.
This workshop is suitable for beginners; no previous experience with sound is necessary.
Bio: Shenece Oretha is a multidisciplinary artist currently listening from London. Her practice is invested in the mobilising potential of sound enacted through sculpture, installations, print, collective action and moving image.
The workshop is run by Sandra Jean Pierre as part of her curatorial project marasa.co - exploring sound possibilities in arts and research contexts.
Workshop prices include the cost of a community n/n membership (£15 annually), which gives access to our workshops, equipment hire, studio hire (by appointment) and a reference library of books on analogue filmmaking.
